I purchased GE Power Pro X500-BK after reading many reviews on different products. I am a grandparent who loves to take pictures. For me GE Power Pro X500-BK seemed to have more of the point and shoot features that I needed to capture the cute moments. I have used it alot now but mainly in the auto mode and I am very happy with it. I have not explored all the different modes yet, but GE Power Pro X500-BK is a very easy camera to use and it feels nice in the hand and my pictures have come out clear and colorful. The battery power does seem to hold well, which was one thing that was important to me. I did get the NiMH batterys and charger and over all I am very happy with this camera. The price was right too, except I watched it for a while and when it started to go up I purchased it, thinking it would go up more. But the next day it went way back down. So I was a little disappointed with that.
